REMIT obligations

You are a participant if you trade on the wholesale market for electricity and natural gas.

Market participants must register and share important information. Market manipulation is prohibited.

We will register you as an energy market participant. Keep your registration up-to-date.

All transactions and orders-to-trade must be reported to the European agency ACER.

Publish inside information as quickly as possible. Otherwise you engage in insider trading.

If you as a market participant use algorithms, you will need to notify us thereof. You also need to use effective systems and risk checks.

As an energy trader, you must do your best to track down suspicious trading. Any suspicious trading must be reported.

You must cancel or reverse any incorrect trading orders. Afterwards, you must publish the error.
